Stablecoins regulated as banks in the US by the end of 2025?

Market Rules

If any nationwide legislation is put into effect in the United States by December 31, 2025, regulating private stablecoins as banks, this market will be resolved as "Yes".

For the sake of resolving this market, legislation that regulates private stablecoins as banks must at least:

  1. Demand transparency of balance sheet;
  2. Stablish minimum limits of liquidity;
  3. Impose capital risk limits for the assets to which the value of the stablecoins is linked.

If legislation is passed that regulates some, but not all, stablecoins as banks, Futuur will use its discretion to determine whether this constitutes a 'Yes' resolution.
