David Solomon still CEO of Goldman Sachs through the end of 2026?
Market Rules
This event predicts whether David Solomon will remain in office as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Goldman Sachs through December 31, 2026. The Primary Designated Source (PDS) will be official disclosures by Goldman Sachs, including press releases, regulatory filings, or investor communications confirming the CEO position.
If David Solomon officially remains CEO of Goldman Sachs through the end of December 31, 2026, this market will resolve to "Yes". Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If, on or before December 31, 2026, Solomon or Goldman Sachs announces that he will step down as CEO (even if the effective departure occurs later), this will be sufficient for a "No" resolution. Temporary leaves of absence due to health or other reasons will not affect resolution as long as he officially retains the CEO title. If official disclosures are unclear, the Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will rely on consistent reporting from major financial news organizations. Resolution will reflect the substantive holding of the CEO position, not side activities or temporary absences. If a definitive determination cannot be made, Futuur may cancel this market with a public explanation.
