Amazon cryptocurrency by the end of 2026?
Market Rules
This event predicts whether Amazon will announce and implement its own proprietary cryptocurrency at any time between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026 (inclusive). The Primary Designated Source (PDS) will be official announcements by Amazon confirming the creation and implementation of its own cryptocurrency (even if that's a stablecoin).
If Amazon officially announces and implements its own cryptocurrency during this period, this market will resolve to "Yes". Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". A cryptocurrency introduced only for limited regions or internal use may require intent-based assessment by Futuur. If official announcements are unclear, the Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will rely on consistent reporting from major technology or financial news organizations. Resolution will reflect substantive launch of a proprietary cryptocurrency, not denial statements or speculation. If a definitive determination cannot be made, Futuur may cancel this market with a public explanation.
