Brazil's National Unemployment Rate for March
Market Rules
This event predicts the unemployment rate in Brazil for March 2026. The Primary Designated Source (PDS) is the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), using the Pesquisa Nacional por Amostra de Domicílios Contínua Mensal (PNAD Contínua Mensal). Resolution will use the unemployment rate value for March 2026 as originally released by IBGE, scheduled for publication on April 30, 2026.
If the IBGE release is delayed, unavailable, or unclear, the Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will be confirmation from IBGE’s official data portals or a clear consensus of reporting by major Brazilian news organizations citing IBGE figures. The markets will resolve according to the substantive unemployment figure and market intent, not minor technical or formatting differences. Subsequent revisions or methodological adjustments after the initial release will not affect the market's resolution; if no fair determination is possible, Futuur may cancel the markets with a public explanation.
