The market in this event resolves according to whether the Knesset votes on expressing confidence in a new government by the end of 2026, based on official information from the Knesset, with a consensus of credible reporting as a secondary confirmation.

 

FULL DETAILS

If the Knesset votes on whether to express confidence in a new Israeli government by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET (January 1, 2027, 04:59 UTC), this market will resolve to "Yes"; otherwise, it will resolve to "No". A vote will qualify regardless of its passage. A motion of no confidence in an existing government will not qualify, and the continuation in office of the outgoing caretaker government will not be considered. The Primary Designated Source is official information from the Knesset; a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

The market may resolve to "Yes" as soon as a qualifying vote takes place; once the condition is first met, resolution is final and irrevocable. For context, Israel is scheduled to hold Knesset elections on October 27, 2026.
