Will South Korea experience a second wave of transmission of Covid-19 by the end of June?
Market Rules
By April of 2020, the countries that were most affected by Covid-19 were experiencing what scientists call the first wave of the disease transmission. Isolation measures were taken to contain the transmission, and some of those countries - such as China and South Korea - seemed to have success in containing the outbreak.
However, for as long as there is no vaccine nor sufficient immunization, the relaxation of such measures might raise the risk of a second wave of transmission, in which the disease could go resume its circulation through domestic community transmission.
If by June 30th, 2020, the number of new confirmed cases of Covid-19 ruturns to presenting exponential growth in South Korea, this question will be resolved as "Yes".
