Will the US create a new international health forum in 2020?

On May 18th, 2020, American president Donald Trump released an open letter to the Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Ghebreyesus that affirms American investigations revealed a big Chinese influence on the entity and a mishandling of the pandemic.
The letter also stated that the US funding would be permanently cut if the entity “does not commit to major substantive improvements” within 30 days, and that the US might reconsider its membership in this case. The country had already frozen its funding for the WHO temporarily in April, until further analysis of the entity’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic was conducted.
In that scenario, some consider the possibility that the US might create a new international health forum, composed of nations which it would invite, as a kind of alternative to the WHO.
If the US creates an alternative multilateral health forum with the adhesion of at least six other member nations by December 31st, 2020, this market will be resolved as “Yes”.
