Will India lift the ban on TikTok by the end of 2020?

In the end of June, 2020, the Indian government decided to ban many popular Chinese apps, including TikTok, using alleged threats to national sovereignty and integrity as the reasons for the decision. Up until the ban, India was one of the driving forces for TikTok downloads worldwide, with close to 660 million installs since 2017.

If by December 31, 2020, the Indian government announces the ending of the ban on TikTok this question will be resolved as “Yes”.
