Market Rules

Scientists around the world are struggling to develop a safe and effective treatment for Covid-19. Scientists from Brazil, China, France, Italy and the United States are testing a technique called passive immunity transfer, which uses blood plasma from people who have cured themselves from Covid-19. The blood from these people contains antibodies against the virus, whose transfusion could, hypothetically, help in the treatment for moderate and severe cases of the disease.

One of the studies, carried out by Albert Einstein and Sírio-Libanês Hospitals, in partnership with the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo is already underway, but the results that were publised published by June 2020 were not enough to state whether this procedure is safe and effective to treat COVID-19.

If by December 31, 2020, a representative of the institutions involved in the study makes an official statement - that is, in addition to its preliminary results - declaring that the plasma from cured patients of Covid-19 has been found to be safe and effective in treating people that currently have Covid-19, this question will be resolved as "Yes".
