Market Rules

The winning outcome in this market will be the one that contains the name of the candidate who is declared elected by the Electoral Justice of Brazil as the next mayor of Porto Alegre, for the term that begins in January 2021.

If a 2nd round of voting is needed to determine the elected mayor, this market will be adjusted as follows as soon as the 1st round of voting is finished:

    Only the 2 remaining candidates will remain active
    All other candidates will be disabled; their share prices will be set to 0, and it will no longer be possible to buy shares from these candidates until the second round of voting comes to an end.
