Will the African Union impose an arms embargo on Ethiopia by the end of June 2021?
Market Rules
The African Union has sent representatives to Ethiopia to dialogue with the country’s government over the conflicts in Tigray. The Ethiopian government insists that the fights with Tigray People’s Liberation Front are a law-enforcement operation, but some observers point out they are developing into an international crisis because their repercussions also affect Sudan and Eritrea.
Concerns about the violation of international laws and war crimes in both combatant sides might stimulate a response from the African Union to cease the conflict.
If the African Union imposes an arms embargo on Ethiopia by June 30, 2021, this market will be resolved as “Yes”.
