The Alcântara Space Center (Maranhão, Brazil) is set to launch ships since the Technologic Safeguards Accord with the US passed in Congress, in 2019. On April 28, 2021, the Brazilian Space Agency and the Brazilian Air Force announced a partnership with four private companies, which renewed expectations surrounding commercial space launching in the base.
If a satellite is successfully put into Earth's orbit after being launched from the Alcântara Space Center by December 31, 2021, this market will be resolved as “Yes”.
