These arms sales is a controversial theme inside and outside Britain because of the reports of the many reports of human rights violations in the conflict perpetrated by Saudi Arabia in the Yemen conflict.

If value of the United Kingdom’s arms exports to Saudi Arabia in 2021 exceeds the value recorded in 2020, this market will be resolved as “Yes”.

This market will be resolved based on data from the trend-indicator values from the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI TIV), as made available at the SIPRI’s Arms Transfers Database: https://www.sipri.org/databases/armstransfers.
