Will Ukraine host the next edition of Eurovision in 2023?

Market Rules

The long-running international Eurovision Song Contest was won by Kalush Orchestra, an Ukrainian music group, in its 2022 edition. According to the event’s tradition, with very few exceptions since 1958, the country of origin of the winning music act is the host for the following year’s competition. Nonetheless, the conflagrated state of Ukraine and its probably long reconstruction process after an eventual end to the conflict started in Donbas casts a shadow on that possibility.

If the final of the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest takes place in a venue in Ukrainian territory, this market will resolve to “Yes”.
