Core inflation is a measure of the changes in prices of goods and services, excluding the food and energy sectors. What will be core inflation in the Consumer Price Index seasonally adjusted growth rate in September 2022?
This data is scheduled to be released by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics on October 13th, 2022. This market will be resolved based on the number originally released by BLS of all items less food and energy, and will not be impacted by subsequent adjustments.

- deagol: @Futuur @tom could you please tweak the option as indicated above? Or at least clarify what happens if the reported core inflation is 0.5%, which by the way is the current consensus.
- Futuur: Thank you for pointing that out, deagol . The outcome should say "0.5% or less", rather than "Less than 0.5%". It has now been adjusted to reflect the correct range, so there is no room for a rate that does not fall within any of the listed outcomes.
