Will the new Chilean Constitution be approved in its next vote?

The latest proposal of a new Chilean Constitution, drafted by a constituent assembly and voted in 2022 in response to the massive protests of 2029, was rejected in a popular vote by 62% of voters.
In March 2023, a parliamentary committee kickstarted the process to pass a new national Constitution. This time, 24 experts assembled to discuss a new text by May, when a constituent council should be elected to create the final document. The text’s submission to the popular vote was expected to take place by December 2023.
If the next proposed text for the Constitution of Chile is approved by popular vote in 2023, this market will resolve to “Yes”. If the new constitution is not subject to the popular vote by the end of 2023, Futuur will decide between extending the duration of this market in accordance with the schedule of the constituent process or cancel the market (in which case all active wagers at the moment of cancelation will be returned to their respective forecasters at their original value).
