Will Binance stop trading in its main non-US global markets by the end of 2023?

Binance Holdings Ltd. operates globally the cryptocurrency exchange platform Binance. Binance, its CEO, and other entities identified as part of the Binance ecosystem are subject to lawsuits by the US Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) for multiple securities violations. In other countries, the platform has also been growingly targeted and restricted by regulators.
This market will resolve to “Yes” if, by December 31st, 2023, Binance.com’s platform stops offering trading services for cryptoassets in all of the following countries, deemed as the most representative of the company’s activities outside the USA:
- Argentina,
- Brazil,
- India,
- Philippines,
- Turkey,
- Russia,
- Vietnam
If by December 31st, 2023, a spokesperson or official communication channel for Binance announces the end of the company’s international activities as a cryptocurrency exchange platform this market will resolve to “Yes” at the moment of the announcement, even if the actual end of the activities only takes place later on.
