Market Rules

Monthly new residential construction figures in the United States are jointly announced by the US Census Bureau and the Department of Housing. These figures give insight into the various house market features, including nationwide building permits.

This market will resolve to “Yes” if the seasonally adjusted annual rate of privately-owned housing units authorized by building permits in November 2023 ends below 1,487,000.

The reference for resolving this market will be the “Monthly New Residential Construction” report set to be released by the US Census Bureau on December 19th, 2023, at 08:30 a.m.
