End of reelection for the executive branch to pass in Brazil's Congress in 2024?

Market Rules

In November 2023, the President of Brazil's Federal Senate Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD) stated to the press that he intended to hold a vote in 2024 about the end of reelection for the head offices of the Executive branch in Brazil, which would require an amendment to the Constitution.

This market aims to predict if, before the beginning of the parliamentary recess of December 2024, the National Congress of Brazil will pass any legislation that terminates reelection for the offices of President, Governor, and Mayor. If Article 14 of Brazil's Federal Constitution gets amended to remove the possibility of reelection by the referred date, this market will resolve to “Yes”.
