Market Rules

The leader of the Vente Venezuela party and winner of the opposition primary election María Corina Machado had her freedom of movement restricted by a court determination, in connection with an investigation of her participation in protests in February 2023. In previous years, past leaders of the Venezuelan opposition such as Juan Guaidó and Henrique Capriles managed to challenge similar restrictions.

If María Corina Machado exits Venezuelan territory between January 1st and June 30th, 2024, this market will resolve to “Yes”, regardless of whether she returns to Venezuela or not.

Futuur will rely on credible news reports, Machado’s personal or campaign communications, and other publicly available information to resolve this market.
