Market Rules
This market aims to predict who will be appointed and confirmed as the next Chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The resolution of this market will be the outcome that correctly matches the individual appointed by the President of the United States of America and confirmed by the US Senate for that office.
This market resolves only once the individual is formally appointed as Chairman of the CFTC by the President of the United States and confirmed by the US Senate (if appliable), excluding acting or interim chairs.
The market will resolve based on information from the following sources: statements and press releases from the White House and the CFTC, official confirmation details and voting records available from the United States Senate, reputable news organizations, and announcements made by the President of the United States or the nominee during official press conferences or public events.
