Will Antigua and Barbuda become a Republic by the end of 2025?

Since 1981, Antigua and Barbuda is independent of the United Kingdom but it is officially a constitutional monarchy reigned by the British monarch, who is also the country's head of state. Though the monarch's role is mainly symbolic and ceremonial, the country's prime minister declared shortly after Queen Elizabeth II's passing that there are plans to become a Republic, possibly in a referendum within the a few years following her passing.
If an official referendum consulting the population of Antigua and Barbuda about å change from the Monarchical regime to the Republican regime takes place by the end of 2025, this market will resolve to “Yes”, regardelss of the referendum's result, or whether or not it is binding.
