Will Chappel Roan release an album that reaches #1 on the "Billboard 200" in 2025?
Market Rules
This market predicts whether American singer-songwriter Chappell Roan will release an album that reaches the #1 position on the Billboard 200 album chart during the 2025 calendar year.
The market will resolve to "Yes" if the following conditions are met:
- A new studio album (standard, deluxe, or re-recorded) primarily credited to Chappell Roan must be released during the 2025 calendar year.
- This album must officially reach the #1 position on the Billboard 200 chart at any point between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2025.
- The #1 position must be verified by Billboard's official charts, as published on Billboard.com or in Billboard Magazine.
If an album released before 2025 reaches #1 in 2025 that will not count towards the resolution of this market.
An "album" is here defined as: a collection of songs released as a cohesive project. This includes standard studio albums, re-recordings, or deluxe editions, but excludes EPs (under 30 minutes or fewer than 6 tracks), singles, compilation albums of previously released material, or live albums.
About "Primary Credit": the album must be primarily credited to Chappell Roan as a solo artist. Collaborative albums where she is equally billed with another artist (e.g., "Artist A & Chappell Roan") will count, but albums where she appears only as a featured artist will not. Soundtrack albums where Chappell Roan performs multiple songs but is not the primary artist credited for the album will NOT count.
