US nonfarm payroll employment to increase in November?

Market Rules

US nonfarm payroll employment numbers are released monthly by the Bureau of Labor Statistics as part of the Employment Situation Summary. Many consider this to be the most important data point of the entire report.

In its most recent report, the Bureau announced that total nonfarm payroll employment had risen by 119,000 in September 2025.

If the next Employment Situation Summary indicates that nonfarm payroll employment in the US grew more in November 2025 than it did in September, this market will resolve to “Yes”. The market will resolve based on the initial November report, not considering any subsequent revisions to that data.
