Donald Trump to Meet Kim Jong-Un in 2026?
Market Rules
This event predicts whether Donald Trump will meet in person with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un at any time between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026 (inclusive). For this market, a “meeting” means a face-to-face encounter between the two individuals. The Primary Designated Source (PDS) will be official confirmations from the U.S. government, the North Korean government, or direct statements from either Donald Trump or Kim Jong-un confirming that such a meeting occurred.
If Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un meet in person during this period, this market will resolve to "Yes". Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". Expressions of willingness or intent to meet, without an actual meeting taking place, will not count. If official confirmations are unclear or disputed, the Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will rely on consistent reporting from multiple major international news organizations. Resolution will reflect the substantive occurrence of a face-to-face meeting, not preliminary announcements or speculation. If a definitive determination cannot be made, Futuur may cancel this market with a public explanation.
