Mike Johnson still Speaker of the House at the end of 2026?

Market Rules

This event predicts whether Mike Johnson will remain Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives through December 31, 2026. The Primary Designated Source (PDS) will be official records of the U.S. House of Representatives confirming the Speakership.

If Mike Johnson officially remains Speaker of the House through the end of December 31, 2026, this market will resolve to "Yes". Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If he is formally removed, resigns, or is replaced through a process recognized under U.S. House rules before that date, the market will resolve to "No" at the moment of the official action. If official records are unclear, the Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will rely on consistent reporting from major U.S. news organizations. Resolution will reflect substantive holding of the Speakership, not procedural disputes. If a definitive determination cannot be made, Futuur may cancel this market with a public explanation.
