Market Rules

This event predicts whether any federal judge of the United States will be impeached during calendar year 2026. For this market, impeachment means approval of articles of impeachment by the U.S. House of Representatives. The Primary Designated Source (PDS) will be official congressional records confirming impeachment proceedings.

If the U.S. House of Representatives approves articles of impeachment against any federal judge during 2026, this market will resolve to "Yes". Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". Investigations, impeachment inquiries, or Senate trials without House approval will not count. If congressional records are unclear, the Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will rely on consistent reporting from major U.S. news organizations. Resolution will reflect the substantive act of impeachment by the House, not subsequent trial outcomes. If a definitive determination cannot be made, Futuur may cancel this market with a public explanation.
