Masoud Pezeshkian out as President of Iran by ...?
Market Rules
This event predicts whether Masoud Pezeshkian will cease to hold the office of President of the Islamic Republic of Iran on or before the dates listed in the markets. For this event, “out of office” means that Masoud Pezeshkian no longer holds the position of President due to resignation, removal, impeachment, death, incapacity resulting in permanent replacement, or replacement through any other constitutional or political process recognized by Iranian authorities. Temporary absences from duty, delegation of presidential powers, or short-term incapacity do not qualify if he remains the official holder of the office.
The Primary Designated Source (PDS) will be official announcements or records from the Government of Iran confirming that another person has assumed the presidency or that Masoud Pezeshkian has formally left office. If official records are delayed or unclear, the Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will be a clear and overwhelming consensus of major reputable international news organizations reporting that he has ceased to be President of Iran. Resolution will be based on the substantive status of the officeholder, not technicalities of announcement timing or wording. If a fair determination cannot be made, Futuur may cancel the event with a public explanation.
