North Carolina's Senate election winner

Market Rules

This event concerns which political party will win the United States Senate election in the state of North Carolina, scheduled for November 3, 2026.

The market corresponding to the party of the candidate who is officially elected to the U.S. Senate seat from North Carolina will resolve to "Yes". A candidate will be considered affiliated with a political party based on their official ballot-listed party designation.

If no candidate wins a majority in the general election, this event will resolve based on the official winner according to the electoral plurality rule mandated by North Carolina law.

The Primary Designated Source (PDS) will be the official certified election results published by the North Carolina State Board of Elections. If official certification is delayed or unclear, the Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will be a clear and overwhelming consensus of major reputable news organizations reporting the same winner based on official data. Resolution will be based on the officially recognized winning candidate, not concession speeches or preliminary projections. If a fair determination cannot be made, Futuur may cancel the event with a public explanation.
