Will the FDA allow Artificial Intelligence to prescribe psychiatric treatments by the end of 2023?

In early 2020, a study published in the scientific journal “Nature Biotechnology” introduced an algorithm that could analyze the exams of patients undergoing treatment with antidepressants, and was able to predict which of those patients would benefit from the medication or not. In theory, such a method could increase the chances of choosing the right treatment on the first attempt, preventing the patient from having to endure ineffective treatments by trial and error
Following the publication, researchers went on to develop an Artificial Intelligence interface to be integrated with electroencephalograms in the US, and are seeking approval from the Food and Drug Administration to use it in real-life treatments.
If by the end of 2023 the referred technique is approved by FDA for use in real-life psychiatric treatments, this question will be resolved as "yes".
