Will Helder Barbalho be removed from office before the end of his term?

At the end of September, the governor of Pará, Helder Barbalho, was one of the targets of an operation conducted by Brazil's Federal Police, aimed at dismantling a criminal organization dedicated to embezzlement of public resources in the health area which were originally destined to the hiring of social organizations to manage public hospitals in Pará.

In Rio de Janeiro, a similar investigation led to the removal of then-governor Wilson Witzel from office. Meanwhile, in Pará, local representative Thiago Araújo has already filed an impeachment request against governor Helder Barbalho in the Legislative Assembly of Pará.

If the governor of Pará, Helder Barbalho, is removed from office (even if only temporarily) before the end of his term (December 31, 2022) - be it through impeachment, following a judicial decision, or through any other legal procedure - this market will be resolved as "Yes".
