When will the World Health Organization declare that the world reached the post-pandemic period?
Market Rules
On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared that the epidemic caused by the new coronavirus, Sars-CoV-2 (the cause of COVID-19) had become a pandemic, reaching all continents and infecting hundreds of millions of people. Since then, countries around the world have struggled to vaccinate their population and control outbreaks to reach the so-called "post-pandemic" phase.
According to the WHO, a post-pandemic period means that, although the virus has spread to all continents, many people in all age groups in many countries have some immunity to the new virus, at the same time as no large and unusual outbreaks are occurring in neither the Northern or the Southern Hemispheres. Cases of infection are still expected to occur, but at a lower rate than what was experienced during the pandemic.
Based on the evolution of COVID-19 cases so far, when will the WHO declare that the world has reached the post-pandemic period?
This market will be resolved based only on official statements from the World Health Organization.

- sparkman_dan: @Futuur#75107 Yes that answers my question. Are you still adding features? If so I would like to be able to hedge my bets with out adding a second coin. It would just made it easier to keep track.
- sparkman_dan: I there a way to buy a second out come?
- Futuur: Thank you for asking, sparkman_dan . You can only hold wagers from a single outcome in a currency, so if you want to buy shares from a different outcome than the one you currently hold, you have to sell your current shares first. However, it is possible to buy shares from multiple outcomes at the same time IF you use a different currency for each of them. In this market, for example, you can hold shares of "Second half of 2022" in Bitcoin, "First half of 2023" in Ether, "Second half of 2023" in Litecoin, and so on, depending on which currency you want to use for buying each outcome. Does that answer your question?
