The United States Federal Reserve's (Fed) Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) announced in March 2022 the first referential interest rate hike since 2018. Subsequently, Fed's president, Jerome Powell, announced multiple additional hikes to control inflationary pressure.

The winning outcome in this market will be the one matching the total number of FOMC meetings in which FOMC announces a raise in the target for the US annual referential interest rate in 2023.
