Will Brazil’s electoral fund of 2024 exceed 2022’s?

Market Rules

Brazil's current federal administration's initial proposal for the Special Fund for Campaign Financing (FEFC or electoral fund) In the federal budget of 2024 was to dedicate the amount of 939.3 million Brazilian Reais to the fund. However, media reports assert that lawmakers intended to adopt a much greater value, at least equaling the total used in the 2022 election (4.96 billion Brazilan Reais) on top of the inflationary correction.

If Brazil's federal budget for 2024 (Lei Orçamentária Anual) passed in the National Congress devotes a value of more than 4.96 billion Brazilian Reais to the electoral fund, this market will resolve to “Yes”.
