One of Javier Milei’s (La Libertad Avanza) main election campaign promises was to privatize several state enterprises, including the state radio network Radio Nacional. By the time of Milei's election, though, some observers were still skeptical about the political struggle to pass the privatization in the Parliament.
This market aims to predict if Radio Nacional will be privatized in Argentina during Argentinian President Javier Milei’s first year of administration. If Argentina’s government ceases to hold majority control of Radio Nacional by December 31st, 2024, this market will resolve to “Yes”, even if the government retains a “golden share” of the company after it goes public.
