Macron to face a vote of no-confidence in 2024?
Market Rules
French president Emmanuel Macron successfully resisted a vote of non-confidence from the Parliament in March 2023, after using his Executive prerogatives to pass an unpopular pension reform. A successful vote of non-confidence would have forced the dissolution of his cabinet of ministers.
If a motion of no-confidence gets presented and voted in the French Parliament against President Emmanuel Macron between January 1st and December 31st, 2024, this market will resolve to “Yes". The motion must not necessarily pass to resolve this market to “Yes".
