Ukraine to join the EU in 2024?

Market Rules

In late February 2022, Ukraine applied to immediately become a member of the European Union (EU). The Ukrainian request for unity had a warm reception in the European Parliament amid the developing large-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, and the country received candidate status in June 2022, but full membership has not yet been granted.

If by December 31st, 2024, the Council of the European Union unanimously approves Ukraine's membership, hence recognizing the country as an official member of the organization, under Article 49 of the Treaty of the European Union, this market will resolve to "Yes".
