New nuclear weapon tests in 2024?
Market Rules
The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea) is the only country to have conducted nuclear tests in the 21st century. The most recent was in 2017. Yet, there's a growing concern over arms control worldwide amid global tensions, including suspicion of undercover nuclear testing in some countries.
If the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) notifies at least one new nuclear weapon test in the world between January 1st and December 31st, 2024, this market will resolve to "Yes".
