John Swinney still First Minister of Scotland through the end of 2025?
Market Rules
Humza Yousaf announced his resignation as Scotland's First Minister on April 29th, 2024. Subsequently, John Swinney was nominated by the Scottish Parliament as Yousaf's successor in office on May 7th, 2024.
This market aims to predict whether John Swinney will still be holding the office of the First Minister of Scotland as of December 31, 2025, at 23:59 (UTC-3).
If John Swinney either leaves the office of First Minister of Scotland or announces his decision to leave such office by December 31st, this market will resolve to "No" when the decision is announced.
Temporary leaves of absence due to health or other reasons will not affect the market resolution as long as Swinney officially retains the First Minister position.
