Winner of Michigan's Democratic Senate primary
Market Rules
This event predicts who will win the Democratic primary for the United States Senate election in Michigan, scheduled for August 4, 2026. The market corresponding to the candidate who is officially declared the winner of the Michigan Democratic Senate primary will resolve to "Yes". If no candidate wins a majority in the general election, this event will resolve based on the official winner according to the electoral plurality rule mandated by Michigan law.
The Primary Designated Source (PDS) will be the official certified election results published by the State of Michigan. If official certification is delayed or unclear, the Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will be a clear and overwhelming consensus of major reputable news organizations reporting the same winner based on official data. Resolution will be based on the officially recognized winner, not projections, concession speeches, or preliminary returns.
