Romanian Parliament dissolved by July 31?
Market Rules
If the Romanian Parliament (Parlamentul României) is officially dissolved through a formal presidential decree (in particular under Article 89 of the Romanian Constitution, which permits the President to dissolve Parliament if it fails to confirm a Prime Minister within 60 days of the first request and after at least two rejections of investiture proposals) or any other lawful mechanism, at any time between May 12th, 2026, and 21:00:00 UTC on July 31, 2026 (00:00 local time on August 1), this market will resolve to "Yes".
Government collapse, no-confidence votes, resignation of the Prime Minister, or interim governance do not count as parliamentary dissolution unless followed by a formal presidential decree dissolving Parliament; if a presidential decree of dissolution is later annulled by the Constitutional Court of Romania before the deadline, the market resolves "No".
The Primary Designated Source is the Official Gazette of Romania (Monitorul Oficial al României), supplemented by official communiqués of the Presidential Administration (presidency.ro / cotroceni.ro) and corroboration by reliable news outlets chosen at Futuur’s criteria.
