US core inflation rate in June (year-over-year CPI)
Market Rules
This event predicts the United States core CPI inflation rate for June 2026, measured as the annual percent change in CPI-U less food and energy (often labeled “All items less food and energy”), before seasonal adjustment, from JUne 2025 to June 2026. The Primary Designated Source (PDS) is the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) Consumer Price Index news release and associated CPI tables for June 2026, including the value reported as “12-month percent change (seasonally adjusted)” for “All items less food and energy."
If the BLS changes its CPI presentation or table structure before publishing the June 2026 data, Futuur will select the most directly comparable CPI-U year-over-year, not seasonally adjusted, percent-change figure for all items less food and energy, consistent with the intent of the markets. The markets will be resolved using the initially published figure at release time (not later revisions). Resolution will prioritize the substantive economic outcome and market intent over minor technicalities in formatting or presentation, and Futuur may cancel the markets with a public explanation if a fair determination becomes impossible.
