Florida's 25th congressional district election winner
Market Rules
This event concerns which political party will win the United States House of Representatives election in Florida's 25th congressional district, scheduled for November 3, 2026. Each of the markets below covers one party; exactly one will resolve to "Yes". The market corresponding to the party of the candidate who is elected to represent Florida's 25th congressional district will resolve to "Yes". A candidate will be considered affiliated with a political party based on their official ballot-listed party designation. If the elected candidate's ballot-listed designation is not one of the parties listed below, all listed markets resolve to "No". The winner is the candidate who receives the most votes (plurality); Florida does not hold runoff elections in U.S. House general elections.
This market refers to Florida's 25th congressional district as constituted under the congressional map in effect for the November 3, 2026 general election. Florida's map remains subject to litigation; any boundary change taking effect after Election Day does not affect resolution.
The Primary Designated Source (PDS) will be a clear and overwhelming consensus of major reputable news organizations — including the Associated Press, Reuters, and Bloomberg — reporting the same winning candidate on the basis of official vote counts. If that consensus is absent, contested, or subsequently retracted, the Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will be the official certified election results published by the Florida Elections Canvassing Commission. Resolution will be based on the reported winning candidate, not on concession speeches or election-night projections that are later withdrawn. If a recount or election contest is pending, resolution will follow its final outcome. If a fair determination cannot be made, Futuur may cancel the event with a public explanation.
