Michigan's 7th congressional district election winner
Market Rules
This event concerns which political party will win the United States House of Representatives election in Michigan's 7th congressional district, scheduled for November 3, 2026. Each of the markets below covers one party; exactly one will resolve to "Yes". The market corresponding to the party of the candidate who is elected to represent Michigan's 7th congressional district will resolve to "Yes". A candidate will be considered affiliated with a political party based on their official ballot-listed party designation. If the elected candidate's ballot-listed designation is not one of the parties listed below, all listed markets resolve to "No". The winner is the candidate who receives the most votes (plurality); Michigan does not hold runoff elections in U.S. House general elections.
The Primary Designated Source (PDS) will be a clear and overwhelming consensus of major reputable news organizations — including the Associated Press, Reuters, and Bloomberg — reporting the same winning candidate on the basis of official vote counts. If that consensus is absent, contested, or subsequently retracted, the Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will be the official certified election results published by the Michigan Board of State Canvassers. Resolution will be based on the reported winning candidate, not on concession speeches or election-night projections that are later withdrawn. If a recount or election contest is pending, resolution will follow its final outcome. If a fair determination cannot be made, Futuur may cancel the event with a public explanation.
