Nuclear fusion achieved by a private company by the end of 2025?

Stephen Hawking used to call nuclear fusion "humankind's most promising technology", and physicists have been pursuing it for the past 60 years. It is based on the same principle that keeps the stars "alive": two hydrogen atoms collide and form a new one, helium, releasing a huge amount of energy in the process.
Climate change has made the development of this technology more urgent than ever, considering it might represent a completely clean, residue-free, and highly efficient energy technology: the power generated by 1 liter of fusion fuel might be equivalent to 55,000 barrels of oil according to some estimates. This started a new technological race among more than 20 private companies, and even Bill Gates is involved.
Nuclear fusion is already routinely achieved at laboratory scale around the world, and the challenge of the companies is to create a scalable, well-controlled fusion machine, which, they believe, is within reach in the next few years
If by the end of 2025, at least 1 private company publically presents a nuclear fusion machine capable of releasing and channeling - in a sustainable way - more energy than what it needs to trigger the nuclear fusion, this question will be resolved as "yes".
