This question will be resolved according to the target goal for the United States basic interest rate, as determined by the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC).

FOMC's last ordinary meeting of the year is set to take place on December 15th and 16th, but it is possible that additional emergency meetingds are held between that date and December 31st. Therefore, Futuur will close this question for forecasts on December 15th, but will wait until December 31st to resolve it, in order to account for any eventual changes might occur during such additional meetings...
