Will the US join the JCPOA again by the end of 2022?
Market Rules
On May 8th, 2018, the US withdrew from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), also known as the "Iran nuclear deal", which had been under implementation since 2016. Since the withdrawal, Iran has reversed nuclear and ballistic commitments and the US has imposed sanctions on the Persian country.
Iran's Foreign Affairs Minister Javad Zarif has declared that Iran will only come back to addressing the JCPOA nuclear control commitments if the US lifts its sanctions against Iran and rejoins the agreement, implementing its obligations.
If the US officially rejoins the JCPOA by 31st December of 2022, this market will be resolved as "Yes".
