Market Rules

The Ethereum network has been going through changes that prepare for the deployment of the smart contract dynamics that can take the network from proof of work to proof of stake. One of the changes to come in the short term is the “London hard fork”, which will bring the Ethereum Improvement Proposal (EIP) 1159 to the mainnet, introducing a basic minimum fee to all transactions in the network.

If the EIP-1559 starts operating in the Ethereum mainnet by December 31, 2021, this market will be resolved as “Yes”.
