Market Rules

This event predicts whether any cryptocurrency other than Bitcoin will surpass Ethereum’s market capitalization at any time between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026 (inclusive). The Primary Designated Source (PDS) will be market capitalization data published by CoinMarketCap or CoinGecko.

If any cryptocurrency other than Bitcoin has a higher market capitalization than Ethereum at any point during this period, this market will resolve to "Yes". Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If market data is ambiguous, the Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will rely on consistent data from multiple reputable aggregators. Resolution will reflect substantive market capitalization comparisons, not brief data glitches. If a definitive determination cannot be made, Futuur may cancel this market with a public explanation.
