Will the Srpska Republika separate from Bosnia and Herzegovina by the end of 2022?
Market Rules
Srpska Republik is one of the political-administrative units of Bosnia and Herzegovina, created after the Bosnian War in 1995. In 2021, Bosnian-Serb leader Milorad Dodik - who's a member of the national government, championed secessionist policies such as prohibiting state-level police, intelligence service, and judicial bodies from acting inside Republika Srpska, replacing such entities for local equivalents, and creating a local army.
This market will resolve to "Yes" in case the parliament of Republika Srpska decides, by December 31st, 2022, that Republika Srpska must perform all of the following actions:
- Withdraw from the Bosnian judicial system
- Withdraw from the Bosnian tax system, or
- Create its own local army>
